His career spans leadership roles across key industry players, including Old Mutual South Africa, Old Mutual Rwanda, APA Insurance, and AAR Insurance, equipping him with deep expertise in market development, product innovation, and regional growth strategy.
He also serves as a Director at the Organisation of Eastern and Southern Africa Insurers, contributing to the advancement of insurance across Africa through strategic collaboration and policy influence. In addition, he sits on the boards of AAR Insurance Kenya and AAR Insurance Uganda, playing a key role in governance and regional oversight.
During his tenure in Rwanda, he was instrumental in driving the successful market penetration of Old Mutual Rwanda, positioning it as one of the strongest and most recognizable brands in the country. This was achieved through well-structured partnerships, localized strategies, and customer-centric product offerings, which continue to underpin the company’s market strength to date.
In Uganda, he led the strategic transition of AAR Insurance from a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) into a fully-fledged insurance company, a transformative milestone that expanded the company’s capabilities, strengthened its regulatory standing, and unlocked new avenues for growth.
